Find Yourself or Create Yourself? It's a Choice for Leaders!

"Life isn't about finding yourself.  Life is about creating yourself."

                                                              George Bernard Shaw

I’ve been working a lot recently with the concepts around identity – how it both serves our purpose, vision and values and how it limits us in those same areas.  How it serves our total experience of life and how it limits us.

(I write somewhat revealingly about this in the book where I’m a contributing author, “Ordinary Men, Extraordinary Lives: Defining Moments” available by clicking here.)

This notion by Sir Bernard Shaw that instead of the passive “finding yourself,” we have a choice to be active and create the life we wish to live …. is enormously attractive to me and I suspect to you.

Why not actively create the live we were born to live?  Well ……. Why not?

Your comments are, as always, welcome here.  I’d love to learn your perspective on this or any subject that you want to discuss.

With love and respect,
